Pr Nadine Attal is a neurologist by training, pain specialist and professor of therapeutics. She is responsible for the Center of Evaluation and Treatment of Pain in Ambroise Paré Hospital (Boulogne-Billancourt, FRANCE) and a member of the INSERM U 987 Research Unit on Pain (Ambroise Paré hospital) directed by Didier Bouhassira. She has published over 130 peer review papers on pain (H index 42) and has chaired several international recommendations on neuropathic pain. She is currently member of the IASP Council and of the scientific committee of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) and chair of the EAN panel on pain. She has been appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur in 2016 and received the price of biology of the Science Academy (« Académie des Sciences ») in 2017.
